Riding Lessons Tailored to You
KWK Equine Services offers years of riding experience to advance your riding and help you achieve your goals. Whether you are looking to start riding or have been riding for years, KWK can help! We offer lessons with our horses or haul-ins. Haul-in will require proof of current coggins prior to arrival.

We teach both English and Western lessons, as well as gaited and non-gaited riding.
What We Offer:

1 / Individaul Riding Lessons
Your first few lessons are typically alone so we can focus on you exclusively and get a feel for your skill level, strengths, and weaknesses.
2 / Group Riding Lessons
Once you are more comfortable, you can ride with other students, allowing you to watch others to help you learn as well as get experience navigating the arena with other riders. We also play games in group lessons!
3 / Haul-In Lessons
Have your own horse and want to work directly with a trainer to improve your riding partnership? You can haul your horses to KWK's arena and get a personalized lesson for you and your horse.
What You Should Know Before Your First Lesson:

For your first lesson at KWK, here is what to expect:
-
You will arrive and meet the trainer who will discuss your current skill level and goals.
-
You will be asked to read through and sign a liability waiver.
-
You will meet the horse you will be riding! Oftentimes we start your lesson from the pasture and teach you to catch the horse and bring them in.
-
You will be shown how to groom and tack up your horse.
-
You should expect to ride anywhere from 30-45 minutes.
-
You will cool off and untack your horse and put them back out to pasture!

What to Bring:
-
Closed Toed Shoes/Boots with a slight heel
-
Long pants such as jeans/riding breeches
-
A helmet if you have one. If you do not, one will be offered to borrow.
-
A good attitude! Horseback riding can be scary at first, but it is incredibly rewarding.
